On 25 April 2002 a separate legal entity was established under the title "Blessed Gérard's Care Centre".
It combines Blessed Gérard's Hospice, Blessed Gérard's Children's Home, Blessed Gérard's Senior Citizens' Club, Blessed Gérard's Development Centre and Blessed Gérard's AIDS Awareness Programme into one new legal entity. This is only a legal change and the accounting will be a little more complicated, but the work of our projects will continue as usual. The advantage now is that South Africans who support the above projects can get a tax rebate on their donations.
